Effectia manages the Technical Secretariat of the Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies Cluster
The aim is to develop a range of initiatives that make the cluster an effective instrument for attracting and mobilising national and European funding, while promoting and positioning the scientific, technical and innovation capabilities of the business and institutional ecosystem in the Community of Madrid.
Since taking on the Technical Secretariat of the Community of Madrid Technological Innovation and Talent Cluster in Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies (CITT in Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies), Effectia has been working to make the cluster an effective instrument for attracting and mobilising national and European funding, primarily for the companies and organisations that form part of it.
With the same objective, it carries out initiatives to promote and position the scientific, technical and innovation capabilities of the Community of Madrid’s business and institutional ecosystem at regional, national and European level.
The CITT in Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies was established within the madri+d Foundation for Knowledge with several objectives, including building an ecosystem around Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies in the Community of Madrid and strengthening the region as a national and international reference point in the cluster’s field of activity. It is also developing initiatives of interest to the sector and promoting participation in the “New Language Economy” PERTE, Horizon Europe and other funding programmes that can help launch strategic projects.
New information services: events, funding and employment
Promoting open innovation and helping to create new innovative companies in this sector are also key objectives of the Cluster and its Technical Secretariat. Three new information services have recently been launched to respond to the ecosystem’s needs. Specifically, an events agenda and, an information service for job opportunities.
These resources will publicise upcoming regional and international events of interest to members and other stakeholders linked to the cluster’s sector. The employment page, meanwhile, will make it possible to share vacancies for specialised positions that are difficult to fill. These services are already available on the Digital Humanities and Spanish Language Technologies Cluster website.
